HI I Am Homaira!

An Architect, Photographer & Visual Artist

I am a multidisciplinary photographer with a foundation in architecture, working across portraiture, still life, and conceptual fine art. My practice is rooted in visual storytelling, with a strong sensitivity to space, memory, and identity shaped by architectural thinking and lived experience.

My work moves between editorial, studio, and documentary approaches, often blending research, interviews, and personal archives. For my thesis project, Glitching the Past: Photography & Forgetting, I conducted in-depth conversations with individuals and translated audio, video, and photographic material into a body of work that questions how images preserve, distort, and erase memory.

Alongside commissioned and freelance work, I produce self-initiated projects, books, and exhibitions, maintaining an interest in both digital and film photography. I value process as much as outcome, working carefully between concept development and execution, whether independently or in collaboration.
